About Nida Akhtar:
Nida Akhtar, a California-based artist with roots in Pakistan, discovered her passion for painting after a personal tragedy in 2013. Following the loss of her daughter, Janna, Nida turned to art as a way to heal. What began as a therapeutic outlet has blossomed into a vibrant career.

Nida’s work is inspired by the natural beauty of California’s golden fields. Her impressionist style, characterized by signature florals and gestural patterns, captures the serene beauty of nature. She primarily works with acrylics but also uses oils, watercolors, and gouaches. As a mother of four daughters, Nida finds joy in the changing seasons and the simple pleasures of life. Her art reflects her journey toward finding peace, and each piece is a tribute to the warmth and beauty Janna brought into her life. Through her paintings, Nida shares her love, offering comfort and inspiration to others.
