The Atrium is showcasing a creative zero-waste holiday season with crafting and a unique Sustainable Santa Story- and needs your help to keep the North Pole cold to restore the magic. Protect the environment and take a peek into Santa’s Magical Sack of Toys- creating cinematic moments for our photographer to capture.

Learn the beautiful art of Argentine Tango! Sexy, passionate, and fun, tango is a dance for connection! We teach Beginning Tango every Monday from 6:30-7:30 pm — we recommend you start at the beginning of the month as the class is progressive!

$15 drop-in per person per class; or $50 for the month for all of our classes!

Theatre of Lights
Old Sacramento Waterfront

Theatre of Lights will return on  Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

Theatre of Lights is a free, family-friendly performance retelling “Twas the Night Before Christmas” in a uniquely Sacramento way on the rooftops of the Old Sacramento Waterfront. Produced by Downtown Sacramento Partnership, the shows are Fridays and Saturdays starting Thanksgiving Eve (no show on Thanksgiving), with two irregular show dates occurring on Monday, December 23rd, and Tuesday, December 24th.

Jack Assadourian Jr – SPECIAL COMEDY EVENT

As the son of comedy club owners, Jack essentially grew up in the comedy scene, and over the years made the transition from spectator to on-stage performer. Over the last few years, he has delved into the acting and writing world and has moved his way up the ladder to find himself traveling across the country featuring for the likes of Marlon Wayans, Brandon T. Jackson, Damon Wayans Jr and DavidSpade. His most recent and iconic endeavor has been the creation of the NoHo Comedy Festival, a festival that attracted some of the country’s most talented comedians.

JR DeGuzman – SPECIAL EVENT
Laughs Unlimited

Born in the Philippines and raised in California, JR De Guzman began performing comedy while working as a music teacher, which he quickly learned just meant teaching Taylor Swift songs to teenagers. He has entertained all over the world, having performed for Stand-Up Tokyo and ROR Comedy in Japan, the Jokers Ball in Indonesia, the Badaboom Comedy Series in Amsterdam, and countless other international shows. Combining music and comedy, JR serenades the audience into laughter with songs, jokes, and stories.

1 Degree of Separation – A Funny Look at Depression and Suicide
Laughs Unlimited

The comics behind 1 Degree of Separation…a funny look at Depression and Suicide are hoping to end the stigma of depression by creating an army of comedians to share stories of hope, happiness, and triumph. Each comic performing at the show will introduce the audience to their relationship with depression through comedy. The show concludes with a roundtable discussion about mental health, depression, and suicide told from the perspectives of people that have experienced it themselves.

Holiday Cheer and Cookie Decorating

Join us on December 13, 2024, at 6 PM in the Underground Vault at Stage Nine, located in the Old Sacramento Waterfront, for an evening of festive holiday fun. Special guest JoAnn Markham will demonstrate expert holiday cookie decorating techniques. All attendees will received Mickey shaped cookies to decorate your own and partake in the white elephant gift exchange!
