A Sacramento Jazzstory – West End Blues
Sacramento History Museum
Discover the soulful world of jazz! Join us at the Sacramento History Museum for an unforgettable evening as we dive into the rich history of Sacramento Jazz and the West End with the incomparable Harley White Jr. Orchestra.
The West End Blues is a multimedia event combining the music of the Harley White Jr. Orchestra, performing big-band jazz, and true tales from Sacramento’s lost neighborhood, the West End, narrated by historian William Burg.
This combination of narrative, music, and historic images reveal the hidden histories, tragedies, and triumphs of Sacramentans whose stories might otherwise be forgotten.
