Save the date!

On April 27, the Great Wall Youth Orchestra, a student orchestral group organized by the Purple Silk Music Education Foundation, will perform a public concert on traditional Chinese and classical instruments. This performance will honor the people of many different backgrounds who help to build and work the railroads of California, uniting all of these traditions through music.

The performance will take place within the California State Railroad Museum’s roundhouse where musicians and audience alike will be surrounded by locomotives, railcars, and railroad stories. This event will be free with admission to the Museum.
