The Excursion Train Rides will run every hour on the hour, Saturdays and Sundays, until Sept. 28, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weather permitting) Departs from the Central Pacific Railroad Freight Depot in Old Sacramento (Front Street, between J and K). Click here to purchase tickets.  Weekday train ride tickets are only available in-person on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10:30 a.m. the day of the train ride at the Sacramento Southern Railroad ticket office. Carriage and wagon rides are offered throughout the year in Old Sacramento by private coach operators. Catch a ride on 2nd Street between J and K in front of the Wells Fargo Museum and Old Sacramento Visitors Center. Call ahead to make special arrangements.
